Of the students graduating from Oklahoma's colleges and universities, how many can be found employed in Oklahoma one to five years after graduation, and what are their annual earnings?

This dashboard analyzes employment data for graduates of Oklahoma public and private colleges and universities one to five years after graduation. A snapshot of employment status shows employment during 2018-19. Of the 31,652 Oklahoma state system graduates, 19,788, or 63%, were found to be employed in the state five years after graduation (2013-14).

The dashboard provides a comprehensive look at employment earning characteristics of Oklahoma graduates both resident and nonresident found in-state by field of study*, degree level and employment by industry, as well as median annual earnings. Data views can be customized using any combination of available filters and parameter controls.

Notable findings include:

  • Graduates entering the Oklahoma workforce earned an estimated median wage of $43,640 during the fifth year after graduation.
  • The "health care and social assistance" and "educational services" industries were the leading employers for Oklahoma graduates.
  • The leading earners by degree level were first professional, doctorate and master's degree holders five years after graduation.
