The purpose of this dashboard is to display demographic, employment and wage information for various occupations by county in Oklahoma. This information can be used to show the importance of higher education as attibuted to specific occupations, as well as the average annual wage of those occupations. In regard to regional planning, age dispersement and educational attainment can help predict optimal program alignment as it pertains to growth or decline in the region of a specific institution and the community it serves. If any tooltip field shows as blank, the drilldown for that specific county and occupation has produced no results. The map is fully interactive and clicking on an individual county will produce aggregated results for all fields. Users may also click and drag across the map to select a specific group of counties or use the dropdown filters to make specific selections.Typical entry-level education lists all selected occupations in order of "most typical" of the typical entry-level education categories and is based on an aggregation of those selected occupations. Data are from the EMSI database on 2018 occupation and education statistics. More information regarding data sources can be found on this page below the dashboard.
