Priorities
- Confirm continued National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliance.
- Encourage Title IX compliance, including standards presented in the:
- Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act.
- University of Montana resolution agreement (U.S. Department of Justice/U.S. Department of Education).
- Encourage Clery Act compliance.
- Encourage creation of an active threat-assessment task force on every campus.
- Advocate increased drug and alcohol and mental health counseling.
- Identify/develop web and print resources.
- Others set by the Task Force, as needed.

- Maintain current law regarding guns on college campuses.
- Review existing federal and state laws and policies pertinent to the purposes of the Task Force.

- Behavioral threat-assessment training and response.
- Notification planning.
- Emergency response plans.
- Intruder response.
- Continuity of operations.
- Mental health first aid training.
- SBIRT (Screening, Brief, Intervention, Referral, Treatment) training.
- Help institutional personnel identify and submit grants to support a campus safety program.
- Others set by the Task Force, as needed.
