Dare to Dream Team, Rose State College, Midwest City
Rose State College’s Dare to Dream Team offers unique and free enrichment resources to help implement extracurricular engineering, math and science activities at public and private schools and civic organizations.
Teachers can benefit from the Dare to Dream Team resources with ideas for science fair projects, customized multidisciplinary activities and footlockers, workshops for teachers and connections with other disciplines. Disciplines include astronomy, chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, geosciences, life sciences, mathematics, meteorology and physics.
The Education Resource Center, located within the college, includes a die cutter, scientific equipment, graphing calculators, Internet access and computer resources, teaching materials, and workshops for teachers.

Encouraging High School Students to Study Math in College,
University of Oklahoma, Norman
Dr. Richard Neal is available to visit Oklahoma high schools and give brief motivational talks about undergraduate math education in Oklahoma. He provides free information to students regarding math programs at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, the University of Central Oklahoma and Northeastern State University.
Neal has received several teaching awards at OU and is president of the American Society for Mathematics headquartered in Oklahoma City. He directs the OU Summer Mathematics Academy and provides private mathematics lessons.
