Session 1: June 2–6
Session 2: June 9–13

This academy will offer two separate, five-day sessions for 15 students. Participants will learn about engineering and physics applications such as mechanics, electronic instrumentation and robotics. Each participant will work in a team with two other students to complete projects and, using what they have learned, set their team in competition with other teams. A University of Central Oklahoma engineering physics or biomedical engineering student will guide each team, while UCO engineering and physics faculty members will serve as instructors. In a series of lunchtime seminars, participants will hear presentations from area companies about science and technology opportunities in Oklahoma, along with presentations from UCO faculty about new and exciting areas of engineering and physics.
