Remediation

Remediation is the process for removing curricular or basic academic skills deficiencies through remedial/developmental course work, supplemental instruction or other interventions, such as retesting, that lead to demonstration of competency.

Individuals admitted as regular degree-seeking students who do not meet the high school curricular requirements or scored below the required ACT sub-score of 19 must make up the deficiencies. Courses used to remediate a deficiency may not be used toward meeting degree requirements.

For more information about remediation, contact your college or university academic advisor or e-mail gwekke@osrhe.edu.
