Ms. Rita Hays, M.Acc., M.Ed., CPA, received a master’s in accountancy from the University of Oklahoma, a master’s in business education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and bachelor’s in accounting from SWOSU. She has been self-employed as a public accountant for more than 20 years, a field revenue agent and internal auditor with federal agencies for five years and taught in public schools and universities for more than 10 years. Currently, she is teaching accounting and tax-related courses for SWOSU. She is a member of Oklahoma Society of Accountants and serves on the committee for accounting careers.
