Dr. Aaron Adair
Southeastern Oklahoma State University
Aaron Adair, Ph.D., is director of theatre at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he has been a member of the faculty of art, communication and theatre since 2007.
Adair’s education includes baccalaureate degrees in music and theatre from SOSU, graduate work at California State University-Fullerton, a master’s degree in theatre arts from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Ph.D. in humanities from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Adair has been heavily involved in online and distance learning at SOSU, as well as prior university appointments at Texas Tech University, Colorado Northwestern College and Paris Junior College. As an actor and director, he has studied and worked in New York, California, Texas, and Colorado, appearing in stage, television and film productions for more than 25 years. He is a member of several organizations, including the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Texas Educational Theatre Association and American Mensa, Ltd., where he served as editor of the Mensa Research Journal.
