About WOSC
Western Oklahoma State College is located in Altus, a southwest Oklahoma community with a population of approximately 20,000. WOSC was established in 1926 as Altus Junior College. Home to Altus Air Force Base, Altus is approximately 55 miles from Lawton, 150 miles from Oklahoma City and 35 miles from the Texas border. Reach Higher – Oklahoma’s degree completion program – offers an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science in enterprise development (general studies or business administration) designed for working adults who have already earned at least 18 hours of college credit and want to finish an associate degree.
Other requirements are that a student have a minimum 2.0 GPA from previous college credits and have completed any required remedial courses.
