Dr. Mark Nelson has taught at Northeastern State University since 1997 as an associate professor in the Department of Technology and Information Systems. Prior to 1997, Dr. Nelson taught at Southeast Missouri State University and has industrial sales experience in the North Texas region.
Nelson has a bachelor's in industrial distribution from West Texas State University, a master's in industrial technology from North Texas University and a Ph.D. in industrial education from Texas A&M University. Areas of teaching included manufacturing operations, computer-aided drafting, management information systems, and technology and society.
