Dr. Frank Grabowski is currently an assistant professor of philosophy at Rogers State University. Earning both his master's and Ph.D. at Wayne State University in Detroit, Grabowski has served on the faculties of several colleges and universities, including Albion College, Wayne State University, Lawrence Technological University, Schoolcraft College and Oakland University, all located in Michigan. His classroom experience includes both designing and teaching introductory courses in philosophy and ethics, courses in logic and critical thinking, and a host of upper-division courses in ancient philosophy, philosophy of religion, aesthetics and contemporary analytic philosophy, as well as a course studying different aspects of the relationship between science and religion.
Grabowski’s research interests, mainly in the study of ancient philosophy, also include medieval and contemporary analytic philosophies, metaphysics and epistemology, philosophy of religion, political philosophy and ethics. He has published and presented papers in the areas of ancient philosophy and philosophy of religion. His forthcoming book – to be published by Continuum Books – is a study on Plato’s metaphysics.
