HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS – SECOND FAMILY INCOME CHECK
As you get ready for your last semester of high school, there’s probably a lot on your mind. We want to provide you with some important information about Oklahoma’s Promise.
Oklahoma's Promise students graduating high school in 2012 and thereafter are subject to a second income check at the time they begin college.
- How does the second family income check work?
- Do I have to complete an application for federal financial aid (FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid)?
Also, remember that by the time you graduate high school, you must have taken ALL the required classes and achieve a 2.5 GPA BOTH overall and in the required courses. If you complete the program requirements, you will receive a letter from Oklahoma’s Promise in the summer following your high school graduation.
