Center for Family Risk and Resilience to Open at OSU-Tulsa Oklahoma State University will open a Center for Family Risk and Resilience at OSU-Tulsa this fall that will partner OSU researchers with local social service agencies to tackle problems and find solutions for issues in the community. The groups met recently to share ideas, experiences and challenges and discuss how the Center can help them cope with issues facing Oklahoma’s citizens. The Center’s mission is to become a resource to promote resilience and reduce risk among individuals, couples and families through multidisciplinary research, education and outreach. The Center is a joint initiative of the OSU College of Human Environmental Sciences in Stillwater, OSU-Tulsa and Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Services. For more information, call 405-744-9938. |
