REMEMBERING 9/11 About 50 members of the campus community gathered around the flagpole
at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. This special observance
on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America was hosted jointly
by the Faculty Association, the Student Association and the Staff Association.
A student played several patriotic songs on his harmonica. Together students,
faculty and staff sang patriotic songs. Then President John Feaver encouraged
everyone to "make it a healthy day," recognizing what is good
and right in the world. "We wanted a remembrance that touched people,"
