Rose State College will join the historic celebration of Queen Elizabeth's
Golden Jubilee by featuring England during Global Oklahoma-a festival
of cultures, Saturday, Oct. 5.
"Although one country or culture is featured each year, the festival
is a multicultural event with entertainers, artists and exhibitors representing
over 20 countries," said Festival Director Lisa Price.
Attractions this year include a British car show, steel-tip dart exhibition
and clinic, the British Invasion Band, an international food court, the
"Castles of England" youth art contest, an opportunity to sign
an autograph book for Queen Elizabeth and much more. The 14th annual festival
will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Rose State campus. The festival
is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Price at
