OSU-Oklahoma City faculty and staff welcomed students back to campus this January with Howdy Week. The biannual event ran January 18-20 in the Student Center, second floor. There were carnival games, a musical performance by local musicians Shane Henry and Maggie McClure, chair massages and food. Pictured are OSU-OKC students enjoying free pizza in the Student Center during Howdy Week festivities.

We Will Remember

We Will Remember

Oklahoma State University retired the first basketball number in school history on January 26, 2011 in honor of the 10 Cowboys who died in the 2001 Plane Crash on the way back from a basketball game in Colorado. The #10 was retired in the fallen Cowboy’s honor.

Cameron's Crowned Beauty

Cameron University student Chaira Flanders (center) is crowned Miss Black CU by emcee Brandi Goldsmith (left), president of the Ebony Society, and 2010 title holder Nicole Diggs. Flanders, from Sadlers, St. Kitts, is a freshman majoring in business administration. Launched in 1980, the Dr. Valree Wynn Miss Black CU Pageant is sponsored annually by the Ebony Society and is named in recognition of former Cameron faculty member and co-founder of the Ebony Society, Dr. Valree Wynn.
