An impressive lineup of stars is planned for the 2014-15 Panorama series at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Improv-based sketch comedy ensemble The Second City will be at SWOSU on Nov. 11, and ABC’s The Shark Tank star Daymond John will speak on Feb. 18.

Daymond John will be in the new Pioneer Cellular Event Center and The Second City will take place in the Fine Arts Center. Starting time is 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 29 for The Second City. Advance tickets are $5 for SWOSU students, faculty/staff and emeriti; $10 for others; and $20 for all tickets purchased at the door. Tickets can be purchased at swosu.edu or stubwire.com.

The Second City will bring their 50 Years of Funny Tour to SWOSU. Some of the Second City alums include people like John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Gilda Radner. The Second City continues to produce the premiere comic talent in the industry. From Mike Myers to Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert to Tina Fey — The Second City imprint is felt across every entertainment medium.

Daymond John is an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. He is CEO and founder of FUBU, a much-celebrated global lifestyle brand and a pioneer in the fashion industry with over $6 billion in product sales. He is an author of two best-selling books, Display of Power and The Brand Within. In 2009, he joined the cast of ABC entrepreneurial business show, The Shark Tank.

SWOSU’s Panorama series has been bringing outstanding events to the Weatherford campus since 1991. Panorama is partially supported by an endowed lectureship sponsored by SBC.
