"Each year the Rose State College Foundation identifies two special events to raise money for student scholarships," said Susan Loveless, Rose State associate vice president for resource development and executive director of the RSC Foundation. "This concert is the first event for the year and the goal is to raise $25,000." The two main areas of focus for the Rose State College Foundation are scholarships and academic enhancements. The Foundation awards 200 scholarships annually totaling $115,000. In addition to general scholarships, the Foundation awards 58 endowed scholarships and scholarships funded by College associations, community organizations and individuals. Tickets are $45 and $35 and available by calling 297-2264 or 1-800-364-7111 and on-line at www.tickets.com. For more information, contact Loveless at 1-405-736-0315. |
