"Using Technology to Enhance Small Business Opportunities" is the focus of a free seminar coming up October 30 at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. The public is invited.
"Using Technology to Enhance Small Business Opportunities " is the focus of a free seminar being offered on Thursday, October 30, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
The seminar, which is sponsored by the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center, will be held 9 a.m. until noon at the SWOSU Conference Center, located at the corner of Seventh and Davis Streets on the SWOSU campus.
The seminar is part of a series of free seminars, offered
each month by the OSBDC, to assist entrepreneurs to fulfill their dreams
of running their own business successfully.
There is no charge for the seminar. However, those wanting to attend are
requested to call the OSBDC at 580-774-7095 as soon as possible to make
reservations, so proper materials will be available for all that desire
to participate.
Stanley Balch, business coordinator for the OSBDC at SWOSU, heads up the seminar. Balch, who holds graduate degrees in law and business, also has 16 years of teaching experience in graduate schools of business. However, the greatest asset he brings to these seminars is his own wealth of practical business experience, and his willingness to supplement that experience with additional seminar leaders who are experts in the topic of the day.
