| EVENT: Professional Administrative Staff Association Golf Tournament Rose State College is gearing up for the annual Professional Administrative Staff Association (PASA) Golf Tournament, Friday, Sept. 29 at the John Conrad Regional Golf Course, 711 S. Douglas Blvd., in Midwest City. “Whether you’re a seasoned player or if you only play occasionally, we invite you to participate in this year’s tournament,” said Bret Wood, RSC dean of community learning services. “There are also a number of other ways for individuals or organizations to support the cause. For instance, we have beverage cart sponsorships, bag items and cash or prize donations available to anyone interested in helping us raise funds for RSC scholarships.” The event begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Entry fees are $50 per person and include a player bag, refreshments and a chance to win door prizes. Cheaters’ packages are available for $10 each. Those packages include one throw, one mulligan and one lady’s tee. Hole sponsorships are available for $200 and include a signage hole, recognition in the tournament program, recognition in the RSC student newspaper and recognition during the awards presentation. Awards will be given for first, second and third place, as well as closest-to-the-pin and longest drive. “We really appreciate all of our past and current sponsors and look forward to a successful tournament once again this year,” Wood said. The entry deadline is Friday, Sept. 22. For more information, contact Bret Wood at 405.733.7392 or at bwood@rose.edu or Connie Myrick at 405.733.7372 or at cmyrick@rose.edu. |
