| EVENT: Global Oklahoma at Rose State College
Rose State College is celebrating the history of Greece during the 16th annual Global Oklahoma-a festival of cultures, Saturday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Multicultural entertainers, artists and exhibitors representing more than 20 countries and cultures are expected to participate in the festival. The Rose State campus will be transformed into a global village, with live entertainment, school displays, educational exhibits, youth art contests, a children's tent, food court and multicultural arts and crafts. "The festival is a wonderful time to celebrate Oklahoma's rich and diverse culture and share traditions of the past," said Lisa Price, festival director. Admission is free.
