EVENT: 'By the Tracks' Painting Exhibit
Rose State College will host "By the Tracks," an exhibit of paintings by Tony Dyke, weekdays through July 29, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the lobby of the Communications Center. "By the Tracks" paintings emphasize the underlying geometric structure found in the commonplace and the poetry of a bygone era in a disappearing industrial landscape. Dyke is a graduate of Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and Tufts University. He is a featured artist at Studio Mid-Del in Midwest City. The exhibit is part of the Rose State College Visual Arts Series and is free and open to the public. For more information, call the RSC Office of Special Events at (405) 736-0313 or visit the Web site at www.rose.edu/commfriend/visualarts. |
