| EVENT: OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market Moves Downtown The OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market is now in downtown Oklahoma City. The renowned market is open Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., through September 13 in Couch Park, located between Broadway and Robinson at Robert S. Kerr, adjacent to Kerr Park. The OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market is a member of the Oklahoma Grown Farmers Market program, registered with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. Every item sold at the OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market is grown or made in Oklahoma. Items available include produce, dairy, eggs, meats, nuts and baked items, many of which are certified organic. The hosting of Wednesday’s farmers’ market downtown replaces the Wednesday market formerly held at the OSU-OKC campus. However, the Saturday market still takes place, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the OSU-OKC Horticulture Center, 400 N. Portland. For more information, visit www.osuokc.edu/farmersmarket. |
