EVENT: OCPRA Summer Conference
DATE: July 10-12 at Quartz Mountain Resort
More than 50 public relations and communications professionals from Oklahoma's college campuses will gather at scenic Quartz Mountain Resort in southwestern Oklahoma July 10-12 for the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association's annual summer conference.
The conference, entitled "A Wealth of Treasures: Jewels of Communications Marketing and PR Wisdom," will provide participants a treasure trove of tips and information they can use to better market their institutions and improve their own communication skills.
Leading the sessions are nationally renown communications experts Jan Hargrave, Clay Turner and Rita Murray who will explore communications topics such as
- Recognizing non-verbal communications.
- Creating positive attitudes.
- Developing strategic plans.
In addition, many of the conference participants will head back to their respective campuses with awards from the OCPRA Awards Banquet July 11, which recognizes this past year's best in contemporary communications.
