EVENT: OCCC Kids’ Summer Camps and Classes
The end of another school year is right around the corner, but classes will just be starting for kids and teens at Oklahoma City Community College. College for Kids and Teens, sport camps and swim lessons begin June 8 through July 31, and offer a variety for children of all ages. Enrollment began April 25. From Music Theater Camp to Sculpture, Dance Fever to Beginning Guitar, Musical Math to Beginning Spanish, there is sure to be a class to suit everyone in the family. Does your child have a knack for storytelling through writing? Published Poetry or Creative Writing might be the class for them. There is nothing better than discovering the wonder beyond the stars in Astronomy class, or learning how our bodies work in the Human Skeleton course. For the athletes in the family, a summer filled with fitness and fun awaits at OCCC. Enroll your son or daughter in a variety of sports camps including soccer, t-ball, baseball, football, cheer, volleyball, basketball, swimming, diving or afternoon Fitkids. In addition, swim lessons, Junior Guard training and swim team will also be available. For specific classes, times and cost, the College for Kids and Teens program guide can be found online at www.occc.edu/coe.
