EVENT: OSU-Tulsa Pulitzer Prize Winner Albee Described as literary icon, three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee is coming to Oklahoma State University-Tulsa April 14. Albee, who has won numerous awards for his dramatic plays, will speak about his life and career at 7 p.m. in the OSU-Tulsa Auditorium. The event is presented by the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa. Albee has won three Pulitzer Prizes for drama, including 1967’s “A Delicate Balance,” 1975’s “Seascape,” and “Three Tall Women” in 1994. He also won a Tony Award for Best Play in 1963 for “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf?” In 1996, he received both a National Medal of the Arts and Kennedy Center Honors for his lifetime contributions to American culture.
