One of the most innovative contemporary groups in the South Pacific featuring dancers and classically trained musicians will perform at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford on Thursday, April 7, as part of the university’s Panorama series.
Drum Drum's performance on April 7 will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center on the SWOSU campus. Members of Drum Drum come from Papua New Guinea and North Australia. Drum Drum’s music is unique because it has developed during the past seven years featuring a blend of South Pacific log drums and chants with hip hop, dub reggae grooves.
Tickets are $10 in advance for non-SWOSU students. All tickets at the door will be $15. Advance tickets are available in the SWOSU Public Relations & Marketing Office in Room 205 of the Administration Building and the SWOSU Business Office in Room 109 of the Administration Building on the Weatherford campus.
