| EVENT: Junior Young Talent in Oklahoma Exhibit at Rose State
Rose State College is hosting the Junior Young Talent in Oklahoma Exhibit, weekdays through March 31 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Communications Center Lobby Gallery, I-40 and Hudiburg Drive. Junior Young Talent in Oklahoma (JYTIO) is an art exposition of work by Oklahoma middle school and junior high students. Established by the Oklahoma Art Education Association, JYTIO was created to complement the juried high school show, Young Talent in Oklahoma, in which thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded each year. These shows take place during the month of March, which is National Youth Arts Month. The exhibit is part of the Rose State Visual Arts Series and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact OAEA Middle Level Division Chair JoAnn Eddy at (405) 632-2341 or RSC Special Events Director Lisa Price at (405) 736-0313. |
