| EVENT: 2004 Oklahoma Higher Education Teaching and Learning Conference Registration continues for the 2004 Oklahoma Higher Education Teaching and Learning Conference hosted by Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, on April 1. Titled “Constructing a Learning Community,” the expanded conference offers a broad range of sessions and services to include 24 general program sessions, an exhibit room of academic and business product vendors, conference proceedings on CD, and a panel discussion in addition to lunch and reception. The conference will be held in the NSU University Center (Tahlequah) from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Faculty and administration from surrounding Oklahoma higher education institutions will present a variety of higher education issues including: Curriculum & Instruction (including ethics, diversity, and global issues); Policies & Procedures; Technology Issues; Learning Outcomes; and Citizenship/Service Learning. Early-bird registration for faculty is $50. After March 11, faculty registration will be $70. Students can attend the conference for $20.
