A brand new Wellness Center has opened at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. The 72,000 square foot building will be formally dedicated on Dec. 2. The entrance area features an impressive rock-climbing wall. The downstairs area has three basketball courts, two aerobics rooms, classrooms and a Freshens health bar. There are offices for Student Health Services, Student Counseling and Intramurals. On the second floor, there is a walking track and a huge area for cardio equipment, including treadmills, runners, stationary bikes and weight-lifting equipment.
