Teachers from Mid-Del and Crutcho schools use a sun spotter to determine the suns rotation and to take data during a recent workshop held at Rose State College in Midwest City. A total of 31 teachers spent two weeks on the RSC campus increasing their subject knowledge and teaching skills of mathematics and science. Teachers received four hours of college credit for their participation. The class is funded by a $170,000 grant from the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
