A bus from the community transit system Oklahoma State University operates in service of its campus and Stillwater motors past Stillwater Medical Center on west Sixth Street. OSU’s Parking and Transit Services Department picked up three of the four major honors presented during the Oklahoma Transit Authority’s annual Awards of Excellence banquet in Oklahoma City in February. OSU’s system, which experienced a 187 percent increase in ridership over the past year, received the award for the state’s top transit system and the award for the year’s best marketing campaign. OSU Parking and Transit Director Hugh Kierig was named transit manager of the year.
