Wayne Cobb, the all-time winning East Central University men's basketball coach, shouts instructions to his team at one of his four NAIA National Tournament appearances. The basketball floor in ECU's Kerr Activities Center was recently named in honor of the NAIA Hall of Fame coach. Cobb spent 24-plus seasons as head coach of the ECU men's basketball program, guiding the Tigers to a 417-251 record from 1978 to 2003. His coaching accomplishments include eight regular-season conference championships, six 20-win seasons, four NAIA National Tournament appearances and two post-season conference tournament titles.
