Six Oklahoma Students Named Brad Henry International Scholars

Henry ScholarsSix students from Oklahoma’s regional universities have been designated Brad Henry International Scholars and are spending the fall semester participating in an international study abroad program at Swansea University in Wales.

Grant to Help NSU library Science Master's Program Target Rural Areas

A proposed master's degree program to train 20 school librarians to serve in high-poverty rural areas of northeast Oklahoma has resulted in an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant of $972,337 to Northeastern State University.

Paula Loop's Memory Honored With Congressional Gold Medal

Paula LoopAlmost 66 years after her death in service to her country, OCW (now University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma) alum Paula R. Loop was among 1,114 WASPs who received the Congressional Gold Medal -- the highest civilian honor -- in March.
