State Regents Recognize Institution, Business Partnerships

Twenty-two business and higher education partnerships throughout the state were recently recognized for their innovative collaborations that further the education of Oklahoma’s workforce.

OSU-OKC to Guarantee Education for Students Who Stay in School

Guaranteed EducationOSU-Oklahoma City is providing a chance of a lifetime to fifth-graders at Westwood Elementary School by awarding a supplemental scholarship to attend OSU-OKC, covering tuition, fees and books.

 

OCCC Nursing Program Exceeds State and National Licensure Exam Results

Oklahoma City Community College's department of nursing has exceeded both national and state pass rates for the 2009 academic year. OCCC also had the largest number of nursing graduates in the state in 2009, with a total of 206, and expects the number of nursing graduates in 2010 to total more than 220.

ECU Graduate Awarded Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship

Nursing ProgramA fascination with East Asian history has led a new East Central University graduate to become the university’s first recipient of a prestigious Fulbright grant. Dianna Kriegh of Vanoss has been awarded a Fulbright English teaching assistantship.

 

RSC Paralegal Program Reaccredited

The paralegal studies program at Rose State College — approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) since 1976 — has been reaccredited by the association.
