Boxer knocks out top award for USAO Young Alumni ![]() Irish boxing champ Oisin Fagan of Oklahoma City lives a double life. By day he is an elementary teacher. At night he becomes a boxer. The 2002 University of Science and Arts graduate recently was named the Light-Welterweight Champion of Ireland. In November, Fagan added another notch to his list of achievements when he received the 2006 USAO Young Alumni Award. Read more. Coalition wins prestigious economic development award The Southwest Oklahoma Impact Coalition took top honors among over 450 economic development organizations from the United States and Canada at a recent forum in Chicago. NSU professor attends professional cultural exchange in China ![]() A Northeastern State University professor recently participated in a People To People Ambassador Program Mathematics Education Delegation to China. NSU Assistant Professor of Mathematics Dr. Wendell Wyatt was one of 35 delegates, representing schools and universities across the country, selected for the professional and cultural exchange.
