Thousands of Oklahomans receive college degrees this spring

Severe weather isn’t the only thing hitting Oklahoma this spring. From every corner of the state and points in between, thousands of college graduates will soon be flooding the job market, hoping to land that first big job.

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education estimate that approximately 28,400 students earned college degrees during the 2005-06 academic year throughout the state system. More than half of the graduates received bachelor’s degrees. Read more.

OSU-OKC student named winner in 2006 Governors' Cup

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City student Jeffrey Johnson was awarded the Isocentric Computer Technology Prize in the 2006 Governor’s Cup Collegiate Business Plan Competition.

The prize, which consists of services valued at $15,000, was awarded to the undergraduate team whose business plan best leveraged computer technology. Read more.
