Roger Webb testified on April 23 in Washington, D.C. before the U.S. Senate Committee of Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs at a hearing titled “Security on America’s College Campuses.” Read more. The Oklahoma State University Center for Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine has been ranked 14th in rural medicine and 30th in primary care by U.S.News & World Report “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2008.” Read more. The Langston University family couldn’t be more elated about the visit from Liberia’s first woman president, The Honorable Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. A crowd of more than 150 people gathered on the front lawn of Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton May 4, as the community college celebrated the groundbreaking of its new $7.1 million Student Life and Learning Center. WOSC instructor named state's "Innovator of the Year" Western Oklahoma State College chemistry instructor Elizabeth Wallace recently was named "Innovator of the Year" by The Journal Record newspaper. Wallace, along with 30 innovators from several organizations throughout Oklahoma, were honored at a banquet on April 5 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center. Read more. |
