Oklahoma State University-Tulsa has been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) for promoting health and wellness on campus. OSU-Tulsa is the only university in the state that has been named a “Start! Fit-Friendly Company.” Read more. If that’s true, then actor and Northeastern State University graduate Dennis Letts has really made it. More than 62 years after he earned them in World War II, Chickasha’s Bill Smith on Nov. 29 actually laid eyes for the first time on the two Purple Hearts that he earned while serving in the U.S. Marines. Smith was decorated in a special ceremony by U.S. Congressman Tom Cole. Read more.
