What: Meeting of Gov. Henry’s Campus Life and Safety and Security (CLASS) Task Force to study safety at Oklahoma’s higher education and career technology campuses.

Why: To hear a presentation on invisible bracelets, discuss Mental Health Collaborative Week and the 2010-11 legislative agenda and to review the Campus Safety: Goal 2010 progress report survey.
Background: Gov. Brad Henry created CLASS by an Executive Order in April 2007 following the Virginia Tech shootings. On Feb. 12, 2008, at the request of the task force, Gov. Henry extended the activities of the task force for the purpose of implementing the recommendations of its final report and continuing to review and evaluate safety and security at higher education and career technology campuses and make recommendations for modifications as needed.
