February 7, 2011 - Statement Regarding Gov. Fallin’s 2011 State of the State Address
Glen D. Johnson, Chancellor of the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education
"I appreciate Gov. Fallin’s decision to not make across-the-board budget reductions, but to instead make budget cuts strategically in order to provide a lesser percentage cut for her priority funding areas. Clearly, we are pleased that higher education is one of Gov. Fallin’s priorities.
"With record enrollments on our campuses and a 27 percent increase in the number of college degrees earned this past decade, we will continue all of our efforts to assist our state in its economic recovery."
