December 1, 2010 - Online Tool Available for Students Looking to Study Abroad
Students wanting to study abroad don’t have to search far for the opportunities available to them, thanks to Oklahoma Study Abroad, a clearinghouse of information for students looking for study-abroad programs offered in the state.
The user-friendly database allows students and others to sort the programs by various categories, such as discipline, institution, country, etc.
“Studying abroad is a unique experience that helps students grow academically and personally and prepares them for a career,” said Chancellor Glen D. Johnson. “This clearinghouse makes it easier for students to find the right program to meet their needs.”
All programs in the clearinghouse are linked back to information from the respective institutions that are offering the study-abroad opportunities.
Visit the clearinghouse at www.okhighered.org/okglobaled/study-abroad or call (405) 225-9192 for more information.
