Governor Unveils FY-03 Budget Details
Also on Monday, the Governor released details of the FY2003 Budget. Education, public safety, veterans programs and mental health were among those agencies exempt from budget cuts. The cuts are a result of a projected decline in state revenues. The budget also includes reductions in expenditures for other areas of state government.
