Administrative Wage Garnishment Supervisor

Exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

Oversee all activities pertaining to the Administrative Wage Garnishment (AWG) staff of the OGSLP Recoveries Department to insure that federal regulations are being met and collection objectives are being achieved. Resolve issues and give directions to the AWG staff. Prepare for, attend and represent the agency in AWG administrative hearings. Participate as a member of the OGSLP management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferred or (3) three years of experience in supervisory positions or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education in management and related work experience. Experience in a FFELP collections environment and knowledge of AWG processes preferred. Must have effective oral and written communication skills; be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently; and be able to plan and organize work. Candidate should be able to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives and make or recommend sound decisions. Multi- tasking and project management skills are critical due to heavy work loads.

Americorps VISTA State Program Coordinator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

Provide leadership and oversight for the OkCC VISTA program. Work with the OkCC Executive Director and Assistant Director to administer the program, and establish and ensure execution of all program objectives. Report and evaluate program effectiveness and provide input into program improvement. The State Program Coordinator is responsible for sustaining relationships with VISTA host sites, Oklahoma Campus Compact sites, the national Campus Compact, Corporation for National and Community Service offices, and other VISTA projects in Oklahoma.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years experience in administrative leadership. Master’s degree preferred. Related experience with a national or community service program, or non-profit organization, experience within a higher education setting, grant management experience, and supervisory experience, all preferred.

Working knowledge of community service and service-learning best practices; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to use computer software, email, databases, and the Internet. Must be able to meet multiple deadlines and take initiatives to complete the project demands. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

SUPERVISION

The State Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director of Oklahoma Campus Compact, and works closely with the Oklahoma Campus Compact Assistant Director and other staff of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

This is a full-time position, funded by and commensurate with an AmeriCorps*VISTA grant awarded to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. The grant will expire on August 15, 2010. The position is contingent on continued grant funding.

Claims Review Specialist I

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

The Claims Review Specialist is responsible for reviewing Claim Reimbursement requests submitted by lenders and lender servicers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required. Two-years post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work-related experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. The ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others is required.

Must be able to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Department of Education regulations and Common Manual policies. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time with attention to detail. Good math skills, PC/CRT and ten-key experience required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills required.

Network Technician I

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

This individual will provide field network technical support through OneNet Statewide Network. This individual will be responsible for set up of new clients on the network as well as provide technical support for existing clients and perform maintenance tasks on network equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required. Two (2) years college-level courses preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with clients on the telephone and in-person required. Must hold a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Some nighttime travel required.

Physical demands include the ability to bend, crouch, stoop, sit and/or lift objects weighing 45 pounds or more. Must use the proper manual equipment including but not limited to dollies and carts. The ability to perform cable locates in rough, unimproved terrain is required. Some extended hours including evenings and weekends for emergency maintenance is required.

Knowledge of basic electronics and telecommunications preferred. Working experience with Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and the telephone industry highly preferred. An understanding of TCP/IP communications preferred. The employee must be available by phone before, after and during regular office hours and must provide his/her own cell phone and cell phone service.

The employee performs work under the supervision of the Network Installation Manager.

Provide support to the Chancellor including day-to-day coordination of the Chancellor’s schedule, office activities, supervision of Chancellor’s office staff, and coordination of all technical aspects of board meetings, conference calls, and presentations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of higher education and work experience is required. Position requires individual who is self-motivated and customer-service oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills. Applicants must be proficient in use of Microsoft applications including PowerPoint. Extended hours are required on an average of two (2) to three (3) days per week and some in-state travel. The employee must provide his/her own cell phone and cell phone service.

The employee performs work under the supervision of the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor for Administration.

Systems Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

This individual will be responsible for the implementation, configuration and maintenance of systems for web hosting, network monitoring and other services. This individual will also provide limited computing technical support through the OneNet Technical Help Desk.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in large UNIX/Linux network environments or an equivalent combination of postsecondary education and related work experience is required. Candidate must possess superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in UNIX systems design and deployment. Experience managing web hosting services in large environments highly preferred. Experience managing DNS in large environments preferred. Experience managing messaging in large environments preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

The employee performs work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Network Systems.
