ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Assist the General Counsel in providing legal advice and representation to the State Regents and the Chancellor; and provide legal advice and representation, under the direct supervision of the General Counsel, to all divisions of the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Attorney licensed to practice in Oklahoma, preferably with minimum of five (5) years of experience. Must be a detail-oriented person with a strong academic record and good research, writing and oral presentation skills. An ability to effectively communicate and professionally interact with agency staff, higher education institutions, and state and federal agencies, is essential.
Some supervisory/management experience is desirable. Experience working in or with a government agency is preferred. Some travel is required.

An advanced degree from an accredited university is required. An earned doctorate degree is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of doctorate will be considered. Experience at a college or university or working directly with higher education officials is highly desirable. He/she is expected to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of higher education issues, research methodology, and the use of technology. He/she must have excellent verbal, writing, and analytical abilities. Will have demonstrated leadership with an ability to work effectively with internal and external constituencies. Communicate with borrowers via telephone calls initiated by the auto-dialer to collect on defaulted loans and to counsel and inform borrowers about repayment options. Participate in other OGSLP call campaigns as developed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma plus two (2) years post-secondary education required or equivalent combination or post-secondary education and related work experience. CRT/PC skills required. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work a minimum of seven (7) hours on the auto-dialer per day. Good organizational skills and dependable with a good attendance record. Previous telephone or collections work experience preferred.
Work Hours:
Monday thru Thursday – 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm
Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Chief Information Security and Compliance Officer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
The Chief Information Security and Compliance Officer (CISCO) is responsible for the design, implementation and testing of all components of the agency's information technology security architecture. The CISCO will establish and enforce the information technology security policies, standards and guidelines for the Oklahoma State Regents and the operational divisions of the Oklahoma Guaranteed Student Loan Program and OneNet to assure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. Further, the CISCO will manage the development of enterprise-wide security architectures in consultation with appropriate executive and department-based leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required and at least five (5) years progressively responsible information technology experience in a corporate, government or university setting. An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work-related experience may be considered. Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years information security experience or equivalent experience in risk mitigation, risk assessment, audit review and risk remediation required. Strong experience in Internet and network security products and platforms, including intrusion detection, incidence response, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Thorough understanding of security requirements of ISO 17799:2005 standard for information security management, state and federal statutes and 3rd party security assessments. Strong project management, communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to communicate security-related concepts to technical and non-technical staff. Strong working knowledge of applicable laws and the law enforcement community. Proven ability to work collaboratively across an organization and with peer groups and organizations external to the agency.
Strong experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and contract/vendor negotiation.
One (1) or more of the following industry-standard certifications (Certified Information Systems Security Professional/CISSP, Certified Information Security Manager/CISM or System Security Certified Practitioner/SSCP) is highly desired.
Physical demands include the ability to bend, crouch, stoop, sit and/or lift objects weighing 45 pounds or more. Must use the proper manual equipment including but not limited to dollies, carts and lift team members. Must provide a cellular telephone and service for work-related activities. Must be available after hours as needed.
SUPERVISION
The employee performs work under the joint supervision of the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Telecommunications and the office of the General Counsel of the State Regents.
