Oklahoma GEAR UP Leadership Team Professional Development
The Oklahoma GEAR UP Team Leadership Professional Development workshops are designed for teachers and administrators who lead schools’ improvement efforts.
Leadership teams are essential in creating a culture of high performance. An effective team has the authority to make decisions and the ability to influence teachers as they help their school reach the goals of the school improvement plan. Dynamic leadership team members function as learning-focused leaders who use data and research-based practices to guide decisions about what to teach, how to teach it and how to assess progress toward standards.
To help schools train effective leadership teams, GEAR UP is hosting an upcoming series of workshops designed to provide school leadership teams with FREE professional development opportunities developed as part of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) sequence of Leadership Curriculum Modules.
