Turner Public Schools received $20,500 to continue partnering with Murray State College and The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation for “Horizons for the Future.” They are implementing the Math and Science institutes. In addition, grant monies are helping fund meetings for eighth- through 12th-grade students and parents to learn about the benefits of Oklahoma’s Promise, college readiness, concurrent enrollment, scholarships and financial aid. Also, the funding is helping cover the costs of college campus tours, ACT prep workshops, summer institutes and career fairs.
