Mason Public Schools is receiving $12,500 to partner with Seminole State College for “Team Commitment for a Better Tomorrow.” In addition to implementing the LOGIC program, grant monies provide residual testing for students taking concurrent enrollment classes at SSC. Funds also help distribute information about Oklahoma’s Promise and the Oklahoma Career Information System. Students are encouraged to develop portfolios with classroom and college preparation goals and take career exploration tests. Grant funds are providing ACT workshops, college and job-shadow days and summer camp for middle school students.
