Grove Public Schools received $20,500 to continue partnering with the Grove Education Foundation for Excellence and Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College for “A ‘LOGIC’al Framework for Student Success.” They are implementing the Science Institute and SREB’s Assessing Academic Rigor to Ensure Grade-Level Participation and College Readiness.

In addition, grant funds are used to offer Parent High Schools and Parent Universities, which are seminars designed to increase parental involvement in academics and teach parents ways to help students deal with societal issues outside the classroom. Also, the grant funds provide help with English, social studies and science after-school tutoring and ACT prep workshops.
