Duke Public Schools is partnering with Western Oklahoma State College and the Duke School Foundation to implement the LOGIC and Thinking Maps programs. They are using the $25,000 grant to help inform students and parents about Oklahoma’s Promise, course information and scholarship opportunities. WOSC staff will be present at parent-teacher conferences and at least one basketball game to assist students in completing college and financial aid applications. Also, grant funds are offsetting costs of Smart Board training, Thinking Maps materials, student planners, graphing calculators, college campus tours and career fairs.
