Ardmore Middle School received $12,500 to partner with Communities in Schools and Ardmore Higher Education Center for “H.O.P.E. – Heralding Oklahoma’s Promise and Parent Expectations.” In addition to implementing the LOGIC program, grant monies are being used to continue their “Enrichment, Confidence, Honors and Organization” (ECHO) program. ECHO, which is coordinated by an onsite academic coach, provides students with academic tutoring and enrichment on an individual basis in core subjects. Also, grant funds are being used to host Oklahoma’s Promise awareness sessions for students and parents to identify if they quality for the program. Grant funds are also being used for career explorations activities, college campus visits and standardized test preparation.
